InviteReader

Terms of Service

Last updated: May 2026

Welcome to InviteReader (also reachable at invitereader.com). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms.

The service

InviteReader is a tool that converts your text and screenshots into calendar events using AI, optionally adds them to your Google or Outlook calendar, and (if you opt in) sends reminders via SMS, voice call, and email.

Your account

  • You're responsible for keeping your account credentials safe.
  • You must be at least 13 years old.
  • One account per person; don't share access.

Acceptable use

Don't use InviteReader to:

  • Send messages or place calls to phone numbers you don't own.
  • Spam, harass, or impersonate.
  • Process content illegal in your jurisdiction.
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to circumvent rate limits.

SMS messaging program

  • Program name: InviteReader Event Reminders.
  • Description: Time-based reminders for calendar events you create in your InviteReader account, plus a one-tap acknowledgement link in each message.
  • Frequency: typically 1–3 messages per event you schedule, only when an event is approaching its start time.
  • Message and data rates may apply. Charges from your wireless carrier are your responsibility.
  • To opt out, reply STOP to any message. To resume messages later, reply START.
  • For help, reply HELP or email support@invitereader.com.
  • Carriers and operators are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • Supported carriers: AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, plus all major carriers worldwide where local regulations permit.

Voice calls

When you enable voice reminders, an AI voice agent (operated via vapi.ai) may call your verified phone number with event details. The same opt-out rules apply: reply STOP to any SMS or change your reminder channel preferences in Settings to stop voice calls.

AI-generated content

InviteReader extracts event details using Google Gemini and generates voice prompts using LLMs configured in vapi.ai. AI may make mistakes — always review the event preview before saving, and verify times and locations from the source. We aren't liable for missed appointments due to AI extraction errors.

Calendar integrations

When you connect Google or Microsoft, InviteReader accesses only the calendar scopes you grant (event creation). You can revoke access at any time from your Google / Microsoft account settings.

Pricing

InviteReader is currently free during beta. We'll notify you in advance before introducing paid plans, and you'll be able to keep using a free tier.

Termination

You can delete your account anytime in Settings. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or generate abusive load.

Liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of InviteReader is limited to the amount you've paid us in the past 12 months (which, during the free beta, is zero).

Changes

We may update these terms. We'll post the new version with an updated date at the top, and email active accounts when changes are material.
